Believe it or not, men worry about the appearance of their skin just as much as women do.  The skin serves to protect the body from exposure to harmful rays of the sun, bacteria and other external damages just to name a few.  Over time, our skin goes through a number of changes including the addition of wrinkles.  As we get older, our skin begins to sag and wrinkle.  Below are just three examples of what can cause our skin to wrinkle.

Sun Exposure
The sun is the number one cause of wrinkles.  Ultraviolet rays (UVA and UVB) cause the most damage to the skin which can result in added wrinkles.  The amount of sun coupled with age, skin color and total exposure time all contribute to the degree of wrinkles in the skin.

Smoking
Those that smoke tobacco damage their skin which results in facial aging, distorted facial color and, of course, wrinkling.  Unfortunately the tobacco industry promotes a fun and exciting lifestyle when it comes to cigarettes.  However studies have proven that, over time, this lifestyle can be harmful not only internally, but externally.

Skin Color
The less sun exposure you have the better off your skin will be protected.  Melanin is the skin coloring pigment we all have.  Lighter skinned people have less melanin.  Less Melanin makes you more susceptible to be burned by the sun’s rays.
